Here, your goals become mine.  We work together to find the roots of your health journey or crisis, from pre-birth to current health status, and begin a healing plan.

Using a thorough history, various testing modalities, and any diagnoses from your doctor(s), we begin to unravel what brought you to your current health state or dis-ease.

My approach incorporates whole life, whole body, and lifestyle adjustments as needed including specific types of exercise suited to and benefiting your uniqueness, as well as stress reduction suggestions.  You will learn more about nutrient dense healing foods and be equipped as to how to find and prepare them.

Born and raised in Southern California, I grew up in a family of 13 children, to the same parents. All of my life, I have been focused on health and well-being. I have a great love for sports and working out including forms of weight training, aerobics, Pilates, yoga, martial arts [Black Belt in Taekwondo], skiing, biking, hiking and just nice beach walks.

I have been practicing holistic nutrition and health for over 15 years.  I’ve had my fair share of personal/family health challenges. My sister, Clare, was mentally handicapped and inspired me to pursue pre-medical studies which turned into teaching children with special needs. This life's segue led to marriage and four children.  As with many families, there have also been some struggles; one child suffering from life-threatening soy allergies, one having constipation issues and dealing with the complications it caused, the loss of our full-term baby girl who was not physically equipped to survive and passed away a few hours after birth, and finally, a child who experienced a mental illness crisis. Through seeking greater understanding in the functional world of health and nutrition, we found healing without using prescription medications.

The pursuit of continual education is very close to my heart and I am constantly striving to keep up to date on new discoveries in natural medicine and healing. I work to surround myself with colleagues and mentors who encourage learning to improve my practice.

I am happily married to my wonderfully supportive husband, Chris, and we have four adult children and three beautiful grandsons!
